Our client in the telecommunications sector to find an experienced Solution Designer with a strong background in EMS/NMS and fixed network technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in designing and delivering cutting-edge network management solutions across IP, Microwave, and Optical Transport domains.

The Role

As the Solution Designer, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end solution lifecycle—from gathering requirements to solution design, overseeing development, implementation, and final handover to Operations. You'll work alongside internal stakeholders, project teams, and external vendors to ensure high-quality, scalable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and enhance EMS/NMS solutions across IP, Microwave, and Optical networks.

• Translate business and technical requirements into robust solution architectures.

• Contribute to architectural governance, solution assessments, and audits.

• Prepare solution proposals, including effort and cost estimates.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Solution Architects, BAs, PMs) to drive project delivery.

• Stay across the latest in OSS, network assurance, and cloud-based technologies.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years’ experience in the telecommunications industry.

• 5+ years in OSS Assurance Solution Design, with 3+ years in EMS/NMS.

• In-depth knowledge of SNMP, ICMP, Syslog, NetFlow, streaming telemetry, Netconf/Yang, RESTconf.

• Solid expertise in Fixed Network domains (IP, Microwave, Optical).

• Familiarity with cloud technologies and application lifecycles.

• Strong technical foundation in web services, CI/CD, and middleware platforms.

• Proven track record delivering complex network management solutions.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Coding experience in Python or Java.

• Familiarity with TMF frameworks, ITIL, ETSI standards, or OSS open-source tools.

• Project or financial management experience is a bonus.
