Join a leader in Tasmania’s renewable energy revolution. High commission structure, quality leads provided, and a chance to make a genuine environmental impact.
About the Role
Are you a high-achieving sales professional with a passion for sustainability? We are seeking an experienced Solar Sales Consultant to join our Hobart-based team. This isn’t just a "sales job"—it’s an opportunity to provide tailored energy solutions to Tasmanian homeowners and businesses looking to combat rising power costs.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end sales process, from initial consultation and site assessment to closing the deal. We pride ourselves on quality installations and ethical selling, meaning you’ll have the backing of a premium brand and a dedicated technical team.
Key Responsibilities
Consultative Selling: Conduct in-home and business consultations to understand energy needs and design bespoke solar and battery solutions.
Lead Management: Effectively manage a pipeline of warm leads while proactively identifying new business opportunities.
Technical Accuracy: Perform basic site assessments and use solar design software to provide accurate savings projections.
Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless transition from sale to installation.
Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date with Tasmanian energy rebates, STCs, and the latest battery technology.
What You Bring
Industry Expertise: Previous experience in the solar industry is preferred, with a solid understanding of PV systems and battery storage.
Technical Qualifications: Qualifications in Solar Design (e.g., CEC/SAA accreditation) would be highly desirable, though not essential for the right sales professional.
Proven Track Record: Experience in high-ticket consultative sales with a focus on hitting targets and exceeding KPIs.
Communication Skills: The ability to translate complex technical information into clear, value-driven benefits for the customer.
Local Knowledge: A strong understanding of the Hobart and Greater Tasmania residential market.
Mobility: A valid Australian driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle are essential.
Why Join Us?
Lucrative Earning Potential: Competitive base salary + an industry-leading commission structure (uncapped).
Quality Leads: Spend less time cold-calling and more time closing with our high-conversion lead generation.
Training & Support: Ongoing professional development and technical support from our engineering team.
Work-Life Balance: Flexibility to manage your own diary and appointments.
