About the Company:
Our client is a leading global healthcare devices company striving to make the world healthier and more sustainable through innovation developed across a broad range of medical technological devices.
About the Role:
Our client is looking for a Service Engineer to work closely with the repairs team. Some of your duties will include diagnostics, quoting and repairing of Respiratory Care equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test, calibrate, repair and replace parts of medical equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and service
- Keep records of maintenance and repairs
- Spearheaded repair quotations using SAP Business One (SBO) and maintained detailed records of service histories, parts replacements, and assessment outcomes.
- Performed preventive maintenance, calibration, and documentation for in-house equipment, loaned devices, and ventilators in an ISO-accredited facility.
- Prepared monthly service metrics and technical reports to track repair outcomes and equipment reliability.
- Prepared and shipped repaired devices to clients within SLA timelines, coordinating logistics and documentation for seamless delivery.
- Diagnose healthcare equipment to quality standards
- Using SAP business one (SBO) for invoicing
- Follow the process for the Fixed Price Repair
- Maintain the calibration of test equipment
- Generate end of month reporting & update AU Service Metric
The Successful Applicant will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other relevant engineering major.
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical technologies or similar electrical engineering roles.
- Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of technical complex systems
- Experience with SAP Business One is preferred but not essential
- Good communication skills - fluent in English, verbal and written.
