Are you a qualified finance professional with a unique blend of FP&A expertise and treasury experience? This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior analyst role that spans two core finance disciplines, supporting both local and regional operations within a lean and high-performing team. You will act as a critical link between on-the-ground finance and group treasury teams across APAC and Europe, providing valuable insight into liquidity, forecasting, funding, and cash flow strategy.
You will be hands-on with process improvement, have the autonomy to build strong relationships with commercial and banking stakeholders, and enjoy the variety that comes with working in a global business with evolving needs.
This is a 7 month maternity leave contract paying up to $120,000 + super on a full time equivalent basis. The role offers hybrid working with two days in the office, onsite parking, and easy access to public transport.
Key responsibilities:
... - Managing cash flow and short term funding
- Executing foreign exchange transactions and currency swaps
- Coordinating intercompany cash movements between Australia and the UK
- Preparing forecasts across fortnightly quarterly and midterm timeframes
- Developing models and reports to support decision making
- Supporting working capital through funding tools and treasury strategy
- Partnering with offshore teams in the Philippines for reporting and payments
- Processing payments when the offshore team is unavailable
- Maintaining internal controls across treasury and finance functions
- Managing bank accounts and system access
- Building relationships with banks and internal commercial analysts
- Running variance analysis and presenting findings to senior stakeholders
- Identifying improvements to manual processes
- Supporting BPC reporting where possible
- Acting as a subject matter contact for treasury related matters
What we are looking for
- CA or CPA qualified accountant
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
- Background in FP&A, treasury, or management accounting
- Confident working across teams and business functions
- Able to build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Analytical and commercially minded
- Thrives in fast paced, dynamic environments
- Experience with BPC is beneficial but not essential
