We're on the hunt for a highly experienced and innovative Senior Solutions Engineer to join our client's team. If you've got a knack for designing, developing, and implementing robust Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions within a large enterprise, we want to hear from you! You'll be crucial in shaping our technical landscape, ensuring our solutions are reliable, scalable, and seamlessly integrated.
What You'll Do:
- Architect & Design: Lead the charge in designing high-level technical solutions that are not just reliable and stable but also operationally sound. You'll ensure these designs align perfectly with our broader architectural vision.
- Set the Standard: Establish and champion best practices, methods, and processes, ensuring we develop high-quality applications with consistent, maintainable code. You'll also guide solution designs through governance forums to secure the necessary approvals.
- Collaborate & Create: Work hand-in-hand with a diverse group of stakeholders from business analysts and project managers to architects and engineers to clarify requirements and develop cutting-edge solutions.
- Drive Improvement: Proactively identify and recommend opportunities to enhance our existing systems and processes, driving continuous improvement across our technical domains.
- Assess & Advise: Provide accurate and timely cost estimates for design and development phases, along with assessing benefits and risks to support critical business decisions.
What You'll Bring:
- 8+ years of experience developing and implementing solutions on an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform, specifically with extensive experience in IBM FileNet.
- Integration Prowess: A deep understanding of how to integrate ECM solutions with other critical applications in a large enterprise context.
- API Mastery: In-depth understanding and practical experience with REST and GraphQL APIs for robust system integration.
- Modern Development Skills: Proficiency in both Java and JavaScript.
- CI/CD Expertise: Hands-on experience with CI/CD toolsets like Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
- Containerisation Know-How: Experience deploying and managing ECM solutions within containerised environments will be a significant advantage.
- Broader Platform Knowledge: Understanding of WebSphere and DB2.
- Workflow & Case Management: Prior experience with IBM Case Manager, BPM, or BAW (Business Automation Workflow) would be highly beneficial.
- Agile Adaptability: You thrive in agile environments, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
- Clear Communicator: You can translate complex technical concepts into clear, understandable language for anyone, technical or not.
