Key Responsibilities
Taking complete ownership of the project lifecycle from inception to handover, your duties will include:
End-to-End Delivery: Overseeing full project execution, ensuring milestones are met on time, within scope, and on budget.
Financial & Programme Management: Directing project programming, financial forecasting, cost control, and budget management.
Relationship Management: Acting as the primary point of contact to build strong, collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
HSEQ Leadership: Fostering a safety-first culture on-site; developing and managing SWMS, ITPs, and ensuring strict compliance with Quality and Environmental standards.
Design & Administration: Managing the design coordination process, raising and tracking RFIs, and overseeing contract administration.
Commercial Growth: Utilising your commercial expertise to optimise project margins and assist with project estimations when required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring a passion for construction, a strong work ethic, and the following credentials:
Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of proven Project Management experience within the local Australian construction market (contractor environment preferred).
Technical Knowledge: A strong background in commercial building, structural refurbishments, or complex construction upgrades.
Commercial Acumen: Robust financial and commercial skills, with an ability to manage budgets, variations, and schedules effectively.
Leadership: A demonstrated track record of leading, mentoring, and motivating site teams and subcontractors.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to client management.
Qualifications: A relevant tertiary degree (Construction Management / Civil Engineering) or an equivalent structural trade background.
