Responsibilities:

Responsible for the implementation of projects within the EPC business unit and provide technical advice relating to electrical design through to project completion.

• Lead an Electrical project design team, engineers and drafters to carry out multiple projects
• Ensure Electrical design for the project meets all project objectives
• Detailed design of electrical systems and subsystems
• Coordinate consulting engineers to carry out studies or scope of works
• Prepare design work to meet engineering specifications and comply with relevant standards
• Procurement of materials and equipment to complete projects
• Carry out basic estimates for engineering work
• Customer, contractor, and supplier liaison
• Perform commissioning and testing of installed equipment

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Senior/ Principal level of Electrical Engineering with CPEng certification
• Experience with a broad range of electrical design, project engineering and project support
• Similar related heavy industry experience
• Full project lifecycle experience
• LV to HV (primary and secondary systems)
• Protection, earthing, lighting
• Hazardous area competency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Initiative and problem solving ability
• MS Suite, MS Project and AutoCad
• Drivers License
