About the Role
Supporting a team of two, you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of a complex, multi-state payroll. You will be tasked with providing SME-level guidance and full end-to-end processing capability to ensure continuity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing end-to-end payroll processing for +2,500 headcount, across 5 states and two distinct payroll runs.
- Navigating payroll-related higher duties, in processing for legislative reporting.
- Ensuring data integrity across a diverse workforce of permanent and contingent staff.
- Assisting in a high-level payroll health check and compliance audit to ensure the function is "future-ready."
- Accurately calculating complex final entitlements and settlement figures, ensuring strict associated regulatory and tax compliance.
About You
- Proven experience as a Senior Payroll Officer or Payroll SME in a high-volume environment.
- Strong technical proficiency in FoundU or similar modern payroll platforms.
- Deep understanding of Australian payroll legislation, including Superannuation, PAYG, and multi-state requirements.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to remain focused when working alongside reactive stakeholders.
- Available to work on-site during the initial training and induction period in Melbourne.
