About our client:
Randstad is pleased to once again be partnering with our client who are a high profile ASX-Listed employer and household name on a full-time and permanent basis. This is a rare opporutnity to join their payroll team that has a long history of promoting from within above hiring externally. This role will report into the Payroll Team Leader and act as a 2IC to assist in supporting a team of 9 Payroll Officers.

About the role:
Reporting into the Payroll Team Leader and working in a team environment, your duties will include:
- High volume weekly payroll processing
- Supporting a team of Payroll Officers in delagating their weekly tasks and acting in a Supervisory capacity when the Payroll Team Leader is on leave
- Updating and maintaining of employee records
- New starter onboarding and employee file maintenance
- Processing terminations, redundancies and leave
- Responding to employee queries in a timely manner
- Award interpretation
- Handle inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues
About you:
You are an experinced Senior Payroll Officer or Payroll Officerwho is ready to step into a more senior role. In addition, you have:
- 5+ years in a similar role
- Experience in a high volume environment
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to show initiative
- Full and unlimited Australian working rights
