Senior Network Engineer
We’re looking for a Senior Network Engineer to take ownership of complex network and security environments across multiple sites. This is a hands-on role focused on implementation, optimisation, troubleshooting, and improving network resilience and performance.
You’ll work closely with internal technology teams and external vendors to deliver secure, reliable network services and support ongoing infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities
... Install, configure and troubleshoot Cisco datacentre switching and enterprise network environments
Support and maintain Cisco FMC / FTD, ISE, wireless, SDA and DNAC environments
Configure and manage F5 LTM load balancing solutions
Monitor and tune network performance to meet service levels
Lead fault resolution and technical troubleshooting across network and security platforms
Coordinate firewall changes and security risk mitigation activities
Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve incidents and deliver upgrades
Maintain documentation, standards, processes and network procedures
Support automation initiatives using tools such as Puppet, Ansible, or Cisco ACI
Participate in an on-call roster and occasional after-hours work as required
What you’ll bring
Extensive experience as a senior network engineer in enterprise environments
Strong Cisco expertise (CCNP required, CCIE highly regarded)
Experience across Cisco routing and switching (IOS and NX-OS), Cisco FTD/FMC, DCNM, DNAC, SDA and ISE
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, VPN, IPSEC, SSL, BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, QoS and network security principles
Proven experience delivering network upgrades and installations across multiple sites
Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver under pressure
- Fortinet firewall experience
- Exposure to Unix/Linux/Windows network environments
