- Instructional Design Expertise: Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of engaging, learner-centred online and F2F learning experiences. This includes collecting inputs from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), conceptual design, storyboarding, building, testing, and implementation.
- Content Development: Translate regulatory, policy, and process changes into clear, accessible, and engaging learning experiences using instructional design best practices. Create a variety of learning materials including e-learning modules, facilitator guides, quick reference tools, info-graphics, and assessments.
- Contemporary Design: Develop accessible, fit-for-purpose, and role-specific learning modules using contemporary learning design practices.
- Performance Support: Partner with change teams and SMEs to build micro-learning and performance support tools, appreciating the importance of embedding and scaffolding beyond pure training to achieve desired behavioural outcomes.
- Project Management: Manage timelines, budgets, and multiple priorities effectively to drive delivery and outcomes.
- Autonomy & Adaptability: Work independently and demonstrate a hands-on approach, managing constant reprioritisation and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Extensive Instructional Design Experience: Extensive experience and the maturity and resilience to operate at a senior level within a complex, large organisation. Skills in relevant authoring tools, e.g., Articulate would be highly regarded.
- Proven Autonomy: Proven ability to work autonomously and drive delivery and outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Contemporary Learning Design: Strong capability and knowledge in contemporary learning design, with a broader depth of experience.
- Behaviour Change Focus: Track record of creating value-add learning solutions that achieve behavioural outcomes beyond traditional training.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Familiarity with leadership frameworks/models, coaching, feedback, and performance management, with experience in building programs for leaders that cover these topics.
- Regulated Environment Experience: Experience working within a regulated environment (e.g., Financial Services, Insurance) is highly advantageous, given the compliance focus.
- Communication and Influence: Strong ability to convey ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Measurement and Analytical Thinking: Ability to evaluate learning outcomes/impacts and apply insights for continuous improvement.
- Vendor Management: Skilled in partnering with and managing vendors to achieve measurable and cost-effective outcomes.
- Delivery Focus: A focus on delivery and outcome, with the ability to handle constant change and shift regularly.
