In this newly created role, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing and corporate functions. Reporting to the Global Head of HR, you will work closely with the Country General Manager to ensure operational excellence. You will be a key advisor to senior leadership, helping to scale their manufacturing and technical capabilities while maintaining the agile, solutions-focused culture that put them on the map.
Key Responsibilities
- Be a trusted adviser to the leadership team, aligning people strategy with business goals
- Manage workforce planning, headcount, and structural reviews.
- Foster an inclusive, values-driven environment via engagement and feedback.
- Act as the subject matter expert for AU (Fair Work Act, NES) and NZ employment law.
- Handle complex employee relations, disputes, grievances, and terminations fairly.
- Lead local compensation reviews against benchmarks
- Manage the end-to-end talent acquisition process for technical & operational roles.
- Promote an inclusive and values driven culture, through engagement initiatives.
- Implement an L&D framework.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have extensive experience as a Senior HRBP or People & Culture Manager with a background in "blue-collar" or technical environments (Manufacturing, Engineering, Logistics, or HVAC).
- A deep understanding of the Fair Work Act and modern awards.
- Experience coaching people leaders through difficult conversations.
- Have the ability to design solutions where bottlenecks exist.
- Comfortable on the factory floor as well as in a boardroom
- Experience working in an ANZ-scoped role within a global framework is highly regarded.
