The Role
... - A commitment to growing the estimating division of the business including spearheading the direction for new processes and estimating tools.
- Liaise with clients for tender opportunities
- Maintain, qualify and liaise with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Preparation of sub-contractor bid packages including Bill of Quantities
- Compare and analyse sub-contractor pricing
- Develop new sub-contractor relationships
- Collaborating with the design and construction teams from the beginning of the process, to ensure high-level and quality estimation to deliver the client's outcome to budget.
- Coordinating and conducting ‘handover’ meetings with the project team once project has been awarded, providing detailed briefing of the tender requirements
- Strong understanding of the full scope for all trades
Collaborate with Projects Team and directors to ensure tender submission and final costing in line with deadline
Experience/Qualifications Required
- Tertiary Qualification in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying
- Candidates must have experience in all aspects of tender submissions, including for government projects
- Track Record of delivering detailed Cost Plans and Tenders with minimal guidance
- Strong knowledge in developing extensive methodologies related to tender submissions
- At least 3 years in a similar role
- Loyal working history
- Confidence in liaising with Sub-contractors, Senior Leadership and project team
- Strong organisation and being able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

- $190,000 - $210,000 + Superannuation (negotiable for the right experience)
