In this high-impact transformation role, you will spearhead the evolution of our product, pricing, and portfolio strategy to realize long-term strategic ambitions. You will translate enterprise direction into actionable roadmaps and design the next generation of customer-centric telecommunications experiences. Focused on the 1–3 year horizon, you will be responsible for defining the future product construct, driving portfolio rationalization, and unlocking new revenue streams through differentiated propositions.
Key Responsibilities
- Product & Portfolio Strategy: Lead the ongoing refresh of the product strategy. Shape the strategic portfolio across products, experiences, channels, and capabilities to realize long-term growth ambitions.
- Product Simplification & Plan Rationalization: Define future product constructs to simplify the portfolio, maximize customer experience (CX), and eradicate operational complexity. Develop robust strategies and business cases for plan migration and rationalization.
- Strategic Pricing & Insights: Define overarching pricing strategies, principles, and guardrails for discounting and offers. Commission and interpret research and segmentation to identify market differentiation and size new opportunities.
- Strategic Initiatives & Innovation: Incubate complex strategic initiatives from hypothesis to robust business case. Lead commercial assessments for differentiated propositions and seamlessly hand over delivery to execution teams.
- Executive Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare concise, high-impact materials for Executive Leadership and Board decisions. Drive alignment on complex trade-offs, sequencing, and investment themes.
- Capability Building: Identify strategic capability gaps and evaluate build/partner/buy options to enable flawless execution.
What We Are Looking For
Telco Experience is Essential. To be successful in this role, you must bring a deep understanding of telecommunications economics, channels, and digital customer journeys.
Additionally, you will bring:
- Strategic & Commercial Acumen: Proven mastery of structured problem-solving, financial valuation, and proposition/pricing economics.
- Transformation Expertise: Experience designing and business-casing large-scale strategic initiatives, migrations, or portfolio-simplification programs.
- Data-Driven Storytelling: The ability to synthesize market and customer insights into compelling narratives and robust business cases.
- Influencing & Communication Skills: Exceptional executive presence with the ability to facilitate complex trade-offs and influence a diverse matrix of internal and external stakeholders.
- People Leadership: A track record of leading, inspiring, and developing a high-performing team of strategic professionals.
