Job Summary
This Product Management role is responsible for the strategic direction, commercial performance, and lifecycle management of a defined portfolio of industrial products and supplier partners across Australia and New Zealand, including their data acquisition business.
The role focuses on market analysis, supplier engagement, portfolio optimization, and the development of tools and programs that drive sustainable growth. You will serve as the central point of coordination between supplier partners and our internal commercial, marketing, and operational teams.
Key Objectives:
Ensure the portfolio is competitively positioned and aligned with customer needs.
Develop strategic customer relationships to drive new business and market share.
Spend approximately 15-20% of time in the field to engage directly with the market.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a blend of technical expertise and commercial drive:
Education: Formal tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
Experience: Prior Product Management or leadership experience with domain expertise in the Industrial or Environmental or Small Devices markets.
Track Record: Demonstrated success in consistent execution and revenue growth within a commercial environment.
Strategy & Acumen: Strong strategic thinking with the ability to turn market insights into actionable plans, including the use of AI-driven tools.
Communication: Excellent presentation skills and the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
Project Management: Experience in project lifecycle management (concept to delivery) is preferred; familiarity with APAC/global markets is an advantage.
Mindset: Collaborative, highly organized, and proactive in identifying risks and opportunities in a fast-paced setting.
