Our client is a highly regarded developer and builder with a strong reputation for delivering landmark residential and mixed-use developments across Queensland. With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects and continued business growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join their Brisbane team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale luxury apartment developments valued between $170 million and $200 million, taking ownership of the commercial function from pre-contract through to project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement, tendering, and management of subcontract packages through to final account.
- Administer subcontract agreements, variations, progress claims, and contract correspondence.
- Assess and manage subcontractor claims and payment schedules.
- Monitor project costs, forecasting, budgets, and monthly financial reporting.
- Manage head contract administration and commercial risk.
- Maintain accurate project records and ensure contractual compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator or a highly capable Contracts Administrator ready to step into a senior position.
- Qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience delivering large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent attention to detail.
- Well-developed stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience using construction management and project administration software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced project environment while managing competing priorities.
