Are you an experienced Business Analyst ready to lead the implementation of new Project Portfolio and Risk Management tools for a key government agency?
My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join their Corporate Portfolio Management Office (CPMO) team in the Adelaide CBD. This is a critical 6-month contract role focused on driving the requirements and design for essential new enterprise-wide tools.
Key Responsibilities include:
You will be instrumental in the successful rollout of the new Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and Risk Management tools across the client's organisation. This role involves working closely with executives, managers, and staff to translate high-level business objectives into clear, documented, and deliverable technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting detailed investigations, feasibility studies, and business analyses to define current and target states.
- Driving the requirements elicitation process and documenting functional and non-functional requirements for procurement materials.
- Developing robust business models (process, data, information flows) to articulate complex concepts.
- Defining system requirements, including data architecture, user roles, reporting needs, and integration specifications for the new PPM/Risk tools.
- Supporting the development of transition, implementation, and change management plans.
- Establishing and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships to be informed of project expectations and business requirements to ensure the delivery of quality outcomes.
Ideally you will possess:
- Direct, hands-on experience supporting the requirements, design, and implementation of PPM and/or Risk Management systems.
- Proven experience with data and information research, extraction, collection, analysis and presentation
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to liaise with project stakeholders, including internal management and Subject Matter Experts
- Demonstrated experience in business process improvement/redesign, data analysis, system functional and non-functional analysis
