Senior Business Analyst
Our client in the higher education sector is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join the team. This role will require to work with the "StudentOne" system (Technology One), focuses on improving student administration processes (admissions, enrolment, finance) by analysing data, gathering/documenting requirements, designing solutions (workflows, reports), managing stakeholders, and supporting system implementation (like Technology One ERP), ensuring compliance and efficient, user-focused outcomes for a better student/staff experience.
Key Responsibilities & Focus Areas:
- Data & Process Analysis: Analysing student data (enrolment, finance) and existing workflows to find opportunities for improvement, efficiency, and fact-based decisions.
- Requirements Management: Eliciting, documenting, and verifying business, stakeholder, and system requirements for changes or new features.
- System Expertise (StudentOne/T1): Working within the Technology One (T1) platform, including StudentOne, to develop reports, dashboards, ETL processes, and support system functions
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with various university departments (Marketing, Admissions, IT, Finance) and leadership to align solutions with strategic goals.
- Solution Design: Designing and developing process improvements (BPMN diagrams), functional specifications, and potential solution options.
- Project Support: Assisting with UAT (User Acceptance Testing), process automation, and ensuring compliance with standards (like ESOS for international students).
Skills:
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication & documentation (BRDs, functional specs).
- Experience with ERP systems (Technology One is key) and data analysis..
- Stakeholder management & workshop facilitation.
