This Lead Field Technician is responsible for supervising the service, maintenance and installation teams tasked with installing, servicing and maintaining systems, Security CCTV, Access Control Systems, Intercoms and Visitor Management. You will ensure these services are delivered within budgeted cost and time schedules. You will also be responsible for maintaining key onsite relationships with the customer, other contractors and/or end users.
You will oversees service, maintenance and installation projects including installation, testing, and repairs. Provides guidance and training for a variety of manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, repairs equipment, utilising advanced knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools.
Key skills & competencies
- Proficient construction skills and understanding of system plans
- Excellent understanding of blueprints, design drawings including wiring and labelling methods, system wiring, wiring methods, and cable support installation
- Very familiar with basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures unassisted.
- Knowledge of Australian Standards applicable to the Security Industry.
- Good planning and project management skills and the ability to prioritise issues and tasks.
- Basic technical programming skills
- Excellent customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
It is highly desired you will experience with EACS, Gallagher, Integriti and Lenel as well as IP CCTV, IP intercoms and networking experience with Genetec, Avigilon, Milestone preferred.
The salary package includes a company vehicle (thus a clear NSW driver's licence), including fuel card and e-tag. There are 2 RDOs per month plus overtime.
