About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and disciplined Sales / Operations Manager to join our team in the Pest Control or Hygiene Services division. This is a critical leadership role focused on ensuring quality control, service delivery consistency, and compliance across all operational matters.
Reporting directly to the State Manager, you will act as the focal point for client inquiries and oversee the day-to-day scheduling and supervision of our frontline staff to meet service delivery targets.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Promote a "TEAM" concept through open communication, coaching, and regular performance feedback delivered with empathy.
Operational Oversight: Organize and supervise the scheduling of work while providing staff with the necessary assistance to meet branch objectives and KPIs.
Financial Accountability: Assist in achieving branch budgets by controlling and minimizing input costs, specifically direct labor.
Risk & Quality Management: Ensure all staff comply with Business Management Systems and maintain Quality, HSE (Health, Safety & Environment), and EMS (Environmental Management Systems) in a current state.
Client Liaison: Act as the primary contact for client inquiries within your area of control to minimize customer defection through high-quality service.
Continual Improvement: Monitor audit results and incident investigations to identify weaknesses and suggest process enhancements.
Experience & Competencies Required
Proven Experience: At least 2 years in a similar management position or 4 years at an operational support level reporting to a manager or supervisor.
Management Skills: Demonstrated operational management and supervisory skills, including the ability to guide, counsel, and discipline staff as necessary.
Communication: Sound oral, written, and IT skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of hazard identification and the application of risk management.
Desirable: Previous experience or a strong understanding of the Hygiene or Pest Control industries is highly regarded.
