We’re looking for a dynamic Campaign Specialist to support the NDIA in delivering clear, accessible, and timely email and SMS communications to NDIS participants, carers, providers, and the wider community. This is a 12 month, APS6 role.
About the Role
As a pivotal member of our marketing team, you will support and lead projects focused on delivering and optimizing digital communications, expanding our reach, and enhancing the functionality of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). Your expertise will help improve understanding of the Scheme, foster engagement, and ensure accessibility and compliance across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, execute, and manage multi-channel email and SMS campaigns within SFMC.
- Support enhancements to the SFMC platform, focusing on accessibility, performance, and impact.
- Plan and deliver targeted campaigns to increase engagement and knowledge of the Scheme.
- Segment audiences and develop responsive, accessible email templates and landing pages using WYSIWYG editors, with basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
- Implement dynamic content, personalization, and logic using AMPScript.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze KPIs (open rates, CTR, conversions), and optimize campaigns accordingly.
- Support governance, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate across teams to expand digital marketing offerings and improve service delivery.
About You
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including:
- Designing, building, and deploying multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS).
- Executing high-volume sends (700k+ recipients) and audience segmentation.
- Conducting A/B testing, QA (Litmus/Email on Acid), and performance optimization.
- Building responsive, accessible email templates and landing pages.
- Using AMPScript for personalization and dynamic content.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing analytics tools (Datorama, Google Analytics, SFMC reports).
- Knowledge of email deliverability, ISP requirements, sender reputation, and blacklist monitoring.
- Experience working within marketing teams to improve digital product offerings.
- Familiarity with compliance standards (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, WCAG 2.1).
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or related fields preferred.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Admin certification is highly desirable.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in digital email marketing, with at least 2 years in SFMC.
- Experience in regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or retail is advantageous.
