My hobby sales industry client has a fantastic full time position based in Melrose Park. This role provides valuable administrative support to the sales team to ensure smooth daily operations and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail, be adaptable to working across different systems and have excellent communication skills liaising with customers and other staff members.

Your responsibilities include:
- Managing the workflow for sales orders as they are received by the Company Sales Representatives/ Customer Service team and ensuring the details are correct in the system before sending the order to the warehouse
- Answering calls and enquiries to back up the Customer Service team
- Assisting with any customer issues and stock updates
- Checking with the accounts and finance teams with regards to the different type of customer groups and their needs
- Checking the progress of the sale and coordinating with the relevant departments for a smooth transaction process
- Generating sales invoices
- Maintaining the customer database and creating new profiles as needed
- Working closely with the Customer Service team and being adaptable to cover for them when needed, for leave, etc.
- Ad hoc administrative tasks as directed by the Sales Manager.
Desirable skills include:
- Excellent organisation and time management skills to manage multiple administrative priorities efficiently
- High attention to detail to maintain accuracy in the orders, invoices and data management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams
- A friendly and calm demeanor with the ability to manage any difficult customer issues and find a solution
- The ability to work well autonomously but also collaboratively as a team player with the adaptability to cover for and assist team members when needed
- Proficiency and proven experience working with spreadsheets and warehouse management systems.
