Roller Operator
Location: Townsville, QLD Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roller Operator with a strong background in civil asphalting to join our dynamic team in Townsville.
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to work both AM and PM shifts as required.
Operating various types of rollers to compact asphalt, road base, and other materials.
Ensuring smooth and uniform compaction according to project specifications.
Working collaboratively with the asphalting crew to achieve high-quality results.
Performing pre-start checks and basic maintenance on the roller.
Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Roller Operator with specific civil asphalting experience.
Must be based in Townsville or willing to relocate.
Ability to pass a full medical examination, including a drug and alcohol test.
Ability to pass a physical assessment.
Strong understanding of compaction techniques and asphalt properties.
Relevant licenses and certifications.
