About the Role
Reporting to the Team Leader Roads and Transport , you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of road and transport engineering services. This position offers a blend of technical engineering, project funding work, and community engagement.
- Technical Advice: Provide expert advice on civil engineering, road and transport matters, including traffic engineering and parking management
- Community Engagement: Investigate and respond to community concerns regarding road safety, footpath conditions, parking, and traffic management. This includes attending meetings and drafting correspondence.
- Funding & Grants: Contribute to applications for externally funded programs such as the Black Spot Program, Roads to Recovery, and Vulnerable Road User Program.
- Reporting: Prepare concise, high-quality reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Data & Decisions: Utilise a data-driven mindset to inform engineering decisions
To be considered for this role you must;
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience in the planning, design and delivery of road related and transport infrastructure projects
- Have strong design and documentation skills
- Have strong verbal and written skills
