Please note that this facility is located 1.5 to 2 hours outside of Melbourne. Due to the nature of the shifts and the distance, this position is not suitable for those wishing to commute daily from the Melbourne CBD or surrounding suburbs. We are looking for candidates who either live locally or are genuinely looking to relocate to a beautiful regional setting.
Mandatory Requirements (Please Read Carefully)
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
On-shore Residency: You must currently be living in Australia.
Working Rights: You must have full, valid Australian working rights. Overseas applicants and those requiring sponsorship will not be considered for this role.
Clinical Experience: Proven experience working as a Registered Nurse within the Australian Aged Care sector.
AHPRA Registration: Current, unconditional registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse.
Flexibility: A commitment to a rotating roster, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts across weekdays and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering high-quality clinical care and medication management to residents.
Developing and reviewing comprehensive care plans.
Leading and mentoring a team of Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Workers.
Ensuring full compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Communicating effectively with residents’ families and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
