The role
Do you love the "thrill of the find" in recruitment but prefer building deep candidate relationships over cold-call sales? We are seeking an Account Specialist to join a dedicated, growth-focused team in Darwin.
As an account specialist, you will be embedded within a major Non-Profit client, working as a true extension of their internal team. Your mission is pure delivery: finding the right people for a diverse range of roles, from retail staff in remote grocery stores to corporate finance professionals. Success in this role requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage the candidate lifecycle including high-volume sourcing & pre-screening.
- Ensure every applicant receives a professional and engaging experience.
- Scheduling interviews for hiring managers, conducting thorough reference checks, and maintaining accurate reporting.
- Successfully manage a high volume of active vacancies (across retail, community, and corporate sectors) with a focus on quality and speed-to-fill.
About you
- You are self motivated, outcome focused and self confident.
- Preferably you have a background in recruitment or talent acquisition and can accurately read a CV beyond just keywords.
- You are process driven with strong administrative skills
- You are motivated by KPIs focused on "filling roles" and providing excellent service rather than hitting sales targets.
