Are you a dedicated and faith-filled Primary School Teacher looking for a leadership role in a warm, supportive regional NSW community?
Our client is a vibrant small Catholic school located in the Wagga Wagga region, seeking an experienced and enthusiastic RE Coordinator (REC) to lead and inspire our staff and students in the faith life of the school. Salary and Benefits
On offer is a competitive package:
Competitive Salary: $79,057 to $133,846 per annum (based on years of teaching service and NESA accreditation)
REC Coordinator Allowance: PLUS a Coordinator Allowance (e.g., up to $19,552 full-time equivalent)
Superannuation: Generous employer superannuation contributions.
Professional Development: Excellent opportunities for ongoing professional learning in RE and Leadership.
As the RE Coordinator in a small primary school, you will be instrumental in nurturing the spiritual growth of our students and the Catholic identity of the school.
Curriculum Leadership: Coordinate and supervise the implementation of the RE curriculum (K-6).
Faith Formation: Lead the planning and execution of meaningful prayer, liturgy, and sacramental programs in partnership with the local Parish.
Teacher Support: Provide mentoring, coaching, and professional learning to primary teachers on effective RE pedagogy and program development.
Catholic Identity: Actively promote and uphold the Catholic values and ethos of the school community.
Community Engagement: Foster strong, collaborative relationships with students, staff, and families
Assessment and Reporting: Oversee quality assessment and reporting processes for RE.
Essential Criteria
To be successful as our RE Coordinator in Regional NSW, you will need:
Demonstrated commitment to the Catholic faith and the mission of Catholic Education.
Accreditation to Teach RE (or willing to obtain)
Current NESA teacher accreditation and relevant teaching qualifications (Primary K-6).
