As Public Relations & Market Insights Coordinator, you’ll work closely with the Product Public Relations Manager to support external communications, media relations, product launches, and events — all while helping to shape the public profile of one of Australia’s most recognised automotive brands.
With three major vehicle launches scheduled in the next 18 months, this is a high-energy, hands-on support role ideal for a motivated and conscientious communicator who is looking to accelerate their career in the automotive and Public space.
Key Responsibilities:
Public Relations & Media Coordination
... - Draft and distribute media releases, press kits, and corporate announcements across national media
- Coordinate logistics for media drive programs and launch events, including venues, travel, and media support
- Maintain and update media databases and key journalist relationships
- Monitor and report on brand media coverage and public sentiment
- Support the creation of LinkedIn and corporate social media content in line with brand voice
- Coordinate supplier contributions to Public relations materials including photography and videography
Product Launch & Event Support
- Assist in the planning and execution of three national vehicle launches over the next 18 months
- Work cross-functionally with Product Strategy and Marketing teams to ensure consistent launch messaging
- Support event logistics, including communications with suppliers, venues, dealers and national media
- Compile and manage launch materials, run sheets, and promotional content
Fleet & Vehicle Logistics
- Manage brand’s national media evaluation fleet, ensuring optimal scheduling and high-quality presentation
- Coordinate bookings, servicing, and logistics for press vehicles
- Oversee insurance claims and repairs for the media fleet vehicles
- Track fleet utilisation and provide monthly reporting
Market Insights & Analysis
- Gather, interpret and report on customer feedback, competitor activity, and market data
- Prepare insights reports to support Product Strategy Managers
- Maintain a pulse on emerging trends and support brand’s strategic direction with relevant analysis
Administrative & Budget Management
- Provide admin and financial support across Public relations and Product Strategy functions
- Process purchase orders, invoices and SAP entries for marketing and Public relations expenses
- Track G&A and marketing budgets and ensure records are maintained accurately
- Liaise with suppliers and service providers for delivery of communications and Public relations outcomes
