The Roles

APS4 Project Officer As an APS4 Project Officer, you will be a key team member working within defined parameters. You will apply established principles and procedures to support the delivery of project outcomes.

• Focus: Operational support, administrative tasks, and assisting with research and analysis.
• Key Tasks: Support project planning, draft documentation for review, and monitor project budgets and expenditure.
• Engagement: Liaise with stakeholders to resolve moderately complex enquiries and maintain effective communication.

APS5 Project Officer The APS5 level requires a greater degree of independence and involves managing more complex tasks.

• Focus: Objective research, systematic analysis, and providing quality assurance for project deliverables.
• Key Tasks: Interpret policy and legislation to solve complex problems and oversee specific project workflows.
• Leadership: Provide coaching and mentoring to APS4 staff to build team capability.
• Strategic Thinking: Identify broader influences impacting the team and suggest improvements to work practices.
