Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the delivery of multiple or complex road infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
Coordinate all operational activities and resources, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies, legislation, and operational procedures.
Supervise, guide, and support project team members to meet performance expectations.
Prepare and manage tenders, estimates, and contract administration tasks.
Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify engineering requirements, including materials and systems, for temporary works essential to project delivery.
About You:
You’re a results-driven professional with a strong background in civil infrastructure project delivery. You bring excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, and thrive in dynamic, team-oriented environments. You are capable of balancing technical and operational project requirements while maintaining a strategic view of organisational goals.
Mandatory Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent as recognised by Engineers Australia).
Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
Valid Queensland ‘C’ class driver’s licence (or equivalent).
Ability to travel throughout Queensland as required.
Ability to obtain a clear criminal history check.
