An immediate start is required for this Government role based on the Gold Coast. We are seeking a candidate who can provide a broad range of project financial services, including accounts payable, receivable, month-end processes, and financial reconciliations to support accurate project tracking and reporting.
Key duties:
... - Monitor project and operational financials to ensure correct charges are applied according to work orders
- Manage supplier transactions, including requisitioning, purchasing, payments, and resolving supplier enquiries and complaints
- Month end reporting and analysis of financial data
- Maintain and update financial and administrative data in SAP and other internal systems.
- Manage employee timesheets and ensure correct allowances and entitlements are applied according to awards, work agreements and departmental policies
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in finance or bookkeeping
- Confident with Microsoft Excel
- Previous experience using SAP would be an advantage
- Payroll knowledge is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail
This is a 5-month temporary full-time role based in Nerang, 36 hours per week, with potential for extension.
