Project Administrator
Randstad is proud to be partnering with a long-standing client, a leading provider of essential infrastructure services. We're looking for a proactive and tech-savvy Project Administrator to join their team. The Opportunity
This role is a unique opportunity to provide crucial support to the Field Supervisor, freeing them up to focus on what they do best - managing projects on-site. You'll be the lynchpin of the office, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
You'll be joining a team that's been through a lot of change and new processes due to growth, so we need someone who is adaptable, proactive, and ready to hit the ground running. You'll work with a diverse group of people, so strong communication skills are essential. This is a contract position from October 7, 2025, to January 30, 2026 with a possibility of extension and requirement to work overtime. There will be a shutdown period from December 20, 2025, to January 1, 2026.
What You'll Be Doing
As the Project Administrator, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep the project moving forward. You'll handle the key administrative duties that support the field team, including:
... Financial & Systems Management: Updating client systems, managing purchase orders, and handling invoices.
Project Support: Loading crucial project forms with detailed information like defect descriptions and photos to prepare sites for supervisors. You will also review and close out tasks in the client system.
Data & Reporting: Reporting weekly on work completion and managing any data discrepancies to ensure accuracy. You'll also provide essential administrative support during the transition to a new ticket of work management system.
About You
You must have a strong background working with construction teams, as you will need to understand the fast-paced nature of the industry.
You must be highly skilled with technology, proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Power BI, as there is a lot of data and tracking involved.
You must be comfortable working with multiple systems and platforms at a time.
Experience with a Ticket of work management system, particularly Novus, would be a significant advantage.
Excellent and professional Stakeholder Relationship Management and Project Support experience, comfortable making outbound calls to help ensure project requirements, documents, tasks and events are on track.
Strong issue resolution skills
Proactive - able to keep across multiple elements, with very high attention to detail
- Must be an Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen.
The pay rate for this position is $36.00 to $42.31 per hour, depending on your experience. The role is based at a depot in Pinkenba, Queensland, with the potential option for a hybrid working arrangement by arrangement once you have demonstrated competency in the role.
