We are looking for a Production Coordinator to join our Digital Media team and help us create impactful content for our organisation.
You will be the backbone of our video and social media content production. You will coordinate projects from start to finish, ensuring everything runs smoothly, on time, and on budget. Your work will directly help us deliver important information, build awareness, and drive engagement across our digital platforms.
Key Accountabilities:
... Manage the end-to-end production process for video and social media content, including scheduling, logistics, and resource management
Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand briefs, track progress, and get feedback and approvals. You will also manage relationships with production crews, contractors, and participants
Ensure all necessary documentation, from consent forms to accessibility requirements, is completed and properly archived
Pioneer new organisational processes and documentation to help our team work more efficiently
Assist senior team members with daily tasks, reporting, and project logistics
Key Requirements
- We are seeking a proactive and experienced professional with a proven track record in a similar role
Experience: Demonstrated experience in coordinating video and/or animation production in a creative or agency setting. Previous experience working in an Australian Government environment is a huge plus.
Project Management: Strong organisational and logistical skills, including managing multiple competing priorities and time lines.
Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with both creative teams and a wide range of stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: Familiarity with production documentation and work flows, including managing procurement processes, tracking vendors, and ensuring all required paperwork is complete.
Skills: Experience using project management or content tracking tools, as well as an understanding of accessibility requirements in video production (e.g., captions, transcripts) is highly desirable.
About the Digital Media Team
The Digital Media team is part of the Media Branch within the Strategic Communications Division. Our mission is to engage with NDIS participants and the community through compelling digital content. We are a collaborative team of approximately 14 people, split across Video Production, Social Media, and Content and Stories. We develop video strategies, create rich media content, and produce products that support key NDIA initiatives.
