Your new company is looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to lead the design and delivery of coordinated, data-driven customer communications across all channels to drive engagement, value, and member confidence. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will be accountable for translating customer strategy and insights into orchestrated engagement - ensuring the right message is delivered to the right customer at the right time.
Acting as the central point of coordination across content, digital, marketing, product, and service teams, the manager ensures alignment, consistency, and relevance across the end-to-end customer lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Journey Orchestration: Design and manage end-to-end customer journeys across key lifecycle moments, such as onboarding, contribution growth, and pre-retirement.
- Engagement Strategy: Define and implement trigger-based, always-on engagement strategies and coordinate interactions across channels for a seamless experience.
- Decisioning & Contact Strategy: Establish and manage rules for customer contact, including prioritization and channel selection, to prevent communication conflicts and over-saturation.
- Data Activation: Translate customer insights, segmentation, and behavioral signals into personalized engagement strategies.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Align stakeholders on journey priorities and influence a shift from channel-led activity to journey-led engagement.
- MarTech Enablement: Partner with the MarTech Solutions Manager to leverage platforms, specifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud, to activate automated engagement.
Requirements:
The organization is seeking an experienced professional who meets the following criteria:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in consumer marketing or communications across multiple disciplines.
- Technical Expertise: Essential experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is required.
- Education: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or Business.
- Operational Track Record: A proven history of developing and executing marketing operations processes to improve efficiency.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to manage direct reports and lead project teams of 4–6 people while influencing outcomes at all levels of the organization.
- Certifications: A Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Certification is considered an advantage.
Working Relationships:
The role involves managing internal relationships with Product, Analytics, and Digital CRM teams, as well as external management of marketing and data vendors, including Salesforce and specialized digital agencies.
