Procurement Support Assistant for Global Healthcare Leader!
Are you an organised, detail-oriented administrative professional looking to step into a crucial support role within Procurement? We are partnering with a major multinational healthcare company to find a dedicated Procurement Support Assistant to join their dynamic team in Sydney.
Exciting for someone looking to kick start their career in procurement and is working towards qualification in procurement. You will be the operational backbone for the team, working closely with experienced procurement managers and divisional professionals.
Key responsibilities:
- Reviewing and processing Purchase Requisitions to guarantee adherence to established procurement policies.
- Serving as the first point of contact for all enquiries from both internal Divisions and external Suppliers.
- Coordinating the maintenance of vendor master data to ensure accuracy across the system.
- Assisting with data gathering and spend data analysis to underpin category management and strategic sourcing activities.
- Providing clear advice and assistance to internal stakeholders regarding procurement policies and procedures.
- Performing essential administrative tasks, which may involve tender document preparation, rigorous filing, and records management.
- Efficiently reviewing and processing vendor creation requests.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- A Diploma or above minimum qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a combined procurement and administrative role, preferably in a corporate environment.
- A genuine interest in administration and procurement
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to respond to changing priorities and demands.
- Excellent oral and written English skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Solid interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Desirable: Knowledge and experience with SAP or other ERP systems is desirable.
