Do you have solid experience in policy, able to manage projects and a great work attitude?
As the Principal Policy & Project Officer you will provide high level policy, project and program management leadership to a range of career education and pathways initiatives.  
Working in collaboration with your team and key stakeholders, you will also provide expert advice, project management leadership, and direction to ensure significant and/or complex evidence-based projects are research informed, and strategies within these reform projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Lead the successful planning, execution, monitoring, and review of career education and pathways projects, including defining project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Provide specialised knowledge, expertise and analysis on emerging issues and priorities to ensure informed decision making that meets legislative and organisational requirements to achieve goals and objectives
- Work collaboratively with senior staff to determine project visions, goals, outcomes and priorities and associated planning.
- Develop and foster effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including supporting and leading work groups and steering committees
- Prepare and coordinate submissions, reports, papers, statements, briefings and correspondence, including briefings for state, national and international working groups and committees
Ideally you will possess:  
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and the ability to convey complex information in a clear, succinct manner while considering target audience and desired outcome 
- Demonstrated ability to work independently under broad direction and proven experience in a similar role
- Sound analytical skills to identify, evaluate and address issues and an ability to plan and manage tasks, research and associated data with due regard to policy
