Principal Infrastructure Services Officer, you will be a key leader in developing and implementing policies and strategies for effective asset management and maintenance practices. Your work will directly support the vision of creating a high-performing education system.
You will provide strategic advice to senior management and departmental stakeholders on a range of infrastructure, planning, and asset management issues. You will also lead and participate in teams that formulate innovative solutions for infrastructure and planning services. This role is about thinking critically and acting on the broader purpose of the system.
Key Responsibilities
Policy and Strategy Development: Lead high-level planning to develop and review policies and programs for maintenance management. You'll create innovative and workable solutions to modernize and optimize school facilities.
Leadership and Team Management: Guide and support team members, providing on-the-job training to contribute to their development. You'll also lead and participate in project teams that develop and implement programs and policies.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data to inform long-term investment strategies and prepare reports and briefing materials for a variety of audiences, including senior executive and Ministerial responses.
Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain strategic networks and regularly liaise with stakeholder groups to ensure services meet their needs.
