The Job:

Joining the business within the Senior leadership group, you will be tasked to lead a team of Estimators and Bid Coordinator and create strategies and manage pre construction phase through to commencement of project.

Key Responsibilities

The Pre-Construction Manager will play a crucial role leading the new business team and
managing the bid process from start to finish. This includes strategic planning, bid preparation,
team coordination, and ensuring bids align with contractor strategic objectives.The ideal candidate will enhance bid quality, drive process improvements, and contribute to achieving targeted success rates.

Lead Generation & Pipeline Management:

• Identify and generate new business opportunities in the institutional,tertiary and education sector and other key markets.
• Manage and grow a pipeline of prospective clients and projects, ensuring it aligns with our revenue targets.
• Maintain current relationships and build new client relations.

Tender & Proposal Management:

• Manage New business team consisting of Estimators and Bid Coordinators.

• Oversee the preparation and submission of high-quality tenders and proposals.

• Achieve a tender conversion rate of at least 30%.

• Oversee Employee Workload

• Systematically Tracking Progress of All Tenders and Personnel workload

Key Requirements:

• Demonstrative experience as a Pre Construction Manager in Commercial Construction in Melbourne.

• Experience managing a team of Estimators and tracking KPI's

• A strong, friendly attitude to the construction industry

• Excellent administrative, communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.

• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

• Ability to lead and mentor team members and push business strategic objectives
