Are you an experienced Concrete Plant Supervisor or a skilled Operator ready to step up? We have an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Supervisor to join our team, based in either Raleigh or Nambucca Heads.
We are offering both casual and permanent opportunities with an attractive hourly rate and a diverse role that combines operational and administrative duties.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a mix of front-end operations and customer-facing responsibilities. You will be the key point of contact for the plant, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently from start to finish.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing excellent customer service for order placement and dispatch.
Taking orders, finalizing sales, and batching concrete.
Developing and managing rosters for the truck fleet.
Ordering and managing materials to ensure stock levels are maintained.
Operating a front-end loader for material handling and plant duties.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in a similar concrete plant or ready-mix role.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Demonstrated experience operating a front-end loader.
The ability to thrive and manage a busy workload in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of concrete production and dispatch processes is essential.
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate of $39.40 - $49.25, based on experience.
Excellent earning potential with overtime and penalty rates where applicable.
