The Opportunity: We are seeking a Plant Operator to join our team, with a focus on operating a Dozer (D8) and Excavator. The role offers a permanent position for the right candidate who is a committed and reliable team player.
Pay Rate: $41 - $44 per hour, plus significant overtime. Operators can expect to work an average of 54–63 hours per week, offering great earning potential.
Roster & Hours: This is a 7-day-a-week operation with the following hours:
Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Weekends: 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM The team works normal hours (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM), with a rostered shift to cover late closing 2-3 times per week and every second weekend.
What We're Looking For:
Essential Skills:
Dozer (D8) experience is a must.
A strong, positive attitude and solid work ethic are paramount. We can teach the right person the rest!
Highly Favorable:
Experience in a landfill or waste environment.
Experience operating a waste compactor or excavator (up to 40 tonnes).
Additional licenses such as Moxy or HR.
