Our client is a large, reputable business based on the Gold Coast in Varsity Lakes. They are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a 4-month temporary assignment to assist with day-to-day weekly payroll processing. This is an urgent requirement with an ASAP start available for the right candidate.

About the role:
Reporting to the Payroll Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of weekly pay cycles. Your duties will include:
- Processing end-to-end weekly payroll for a large headcount
- Assisting with day-to-day payroll administration and data entry
- Updating and maintaining employee records and master data
- Calculating leave entitlements, manual adjustments, and terminations
- Responding to payroll-related enquiries from staff and management
- Ensuring compliance with relevant awards and legislation
About you:
- 3+ years experience in a deidcated payroll position
- Previous experience working within a medium - high volume environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Available to start immediately or on very short notice
- Full and unlimited Australian working rights
