Oracle GoldenGate database administrator
Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne or Adelaide | 12 month contract
We are working with a consulting client supporting a large federal agency on a critical v12 to v19 upgrade and are seeking a senior Oracle GoldenGate DBA to drive replication and database stability across complex environments.
What you will be doing:
- Manage Oracle databases including installation, configuration and ongoing maintenance
- Lead GoldenGate replication across heterogeneous environments
- Ensure real time data synchronisation and disaster recovery capability
- Review and optimise existing GoldenGate configurations
- Tune SQL, indexes and replication processes for performance
- Manage DDL, partitioning and core DBA responsibilities
- Support database design, upgrades and documentation standards
- Ensure security and compliance across all environments
What you will bring:
- 5+ years as an Oracle GoldenGate DBA in enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of Oracle 12c and 19c architecture
- Deep experience with GoldenGate across Oracle and NSK platforms
- Broad DBA capability across multiple RDBMS environments
- Strong working knowledge of NSK and Linux operating systems
- Proven ability to assess and redesign replication architecture
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- AGSVA baseline clearance (minimum)
- Oracle OCP certification highly regarded
- Experience with cloud database solutions advantageous
