About Your Next Role
Under the direction of the Enterprise Operations Manager, you will provide comprehensive operational and administrative support to ensure the efficient running of the unit. In this vital role, you will act as a key organisational pillar by managing financial transactions, coordinating logistics, and maintaining seamless daily administrative workflows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Financial Administration: Raise purchase orders, receipt invoices, confirm delivery of goods and services, and raise invoices for services provided.
Logistics Coordination: Assist with logistics for remote sites including freight, flights, accommodation, and transfers.
Secretarial Support: Attend meetings, take minutes, create action lists, and actively follow up on action items before due dates.
Data & Systems: Collate and input data into various systems as directed.
Team Support: Participate in the telephone overflow and reception relief as rostered, alongside other administrative tasks as directed.
Culture & Safety: Communicate respectfully with internal and external stakeholders by phone, email, and in person, while championing ALPA values and demonstrating a commitment to work health and safety.
What You Will Need to Bring
Previous experience working in a broad administration role.
Experience with data entry, preparing purchase orders, and receipting invoices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite.
An attitude and work history that confirms the ability to be self-directed but also work effectively in a team.
- Cultural awareness, respect, and a genuine commitment to working effectively with First Nations communities.
- Demonstrated experience supporting remote-based business operations is desirable.
Mandatory Requirements
A valid and compliant Working With Children Check (WWCC).
Ability and willingness to travel to remote ALPA communities via 4WD (including on unsealed roads) or small light aircraft.
Flight safety requirement: Ability to meet third-party aviation provider safety guidelines (maximum passenger weight capacity of 140kg).
