Key duties and responsibilities:
Duties may include some or all the following but not limited to:
- Under the direction of the Program Executive, set the prioritisation required to inform and implement delivery of the (TSP).
- Work collaboratively with Project Leads, Project Managers and Schedulers to build and implement a Performance Measurement Baseline with periodic reporting.
- Work collaboratively with Project Leads and Project Managers to ensure timely and orderly implementation of new capability and disengagement of current services in accordance with the Program Schedule.
- Work collaboratively with the Programme Management Office to support the management of project deliverables and compliance with organisational expectations.
- Identify and manage project interdependencies and wider agency dependencies, which may include development of a dependencies management plan.
- Prepare a range of written material as required, including various reports, executive papers, Senate Estimates Submissions, Ministerial and Agency briefs.
- Form, lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams with a focus on maximising their contribution to program and project delivery through a shared vision.
- Develop staff capability through coaching, mentoring and succession planning to increase performance, engagement and retention.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, engaging in frequent liaison and negotiation activities.
- Strong cybersecurity background is required to plan and deliver cyber deliverables for a significant and sensitive program of work.
- Experience delivering telecommunications uplift projects with a cyber lens.
- Experience managing large, multi-year programs of work for major organisations.
- Demonstrated commercial aptitude is required to negotiate deliverables and expectations with multiple vendors.
- Highly developed communication skills and experience communicating with influence across all levels of the APS to achieve a desired outcome.
- Ability to develop integrated delivery documents aligned to business, technology and vendor project schedules.
- Ability to schedule and facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholder groups at various levels across the APS and private enterprise.

- Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying Essential 8, ISM, and PSPF.
