You’ll be behind the wheel of our specialised sweeping vehicles and hitting the pavement for manual clearing. This is a "hands-on" role that blends professional driving with active labouring.

• Shift Times: Starts at 1:30 AM and wraps up around 10:00 AM.

• Flexibility: While 1:30 AM is the standard, you’ll need to be flexible with start times to meet seasonal demands or special events.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operating Council sweeping vehicles to clear debris and litter from suburban and main roads.

• Performing manual labouring tasks, including clearing footpaths and hard-to-reach areas.

• Conducting pre-start vehicle checks and basic maintenance.

• Ensuring our streets are pristine and ready for the morning commute.

What You Need to Bring

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Licence: A current MR (Medium Rigid) licence is essential.

• Reliability: You are the type of person who never misses an alarm.

• Physical Fitness: You’re happy to get out of the cab and perform labour-intensive work.

• Compliance: You must be able to pass a National Police Check and a Drug & Alcohol screen. You also must be an Australian Citizen.
