Randstad are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic and fast-paced team at our Nelson facility. As a key part of our operations, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing machinery to ensure the smooth and safe running of our production processes.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
Conducting regular maintenance and repairs on a wide range of machinery
Performing routine servicing and inspections to minimise downtime
Diagnosing mechanical issues and implementing effective solutions
Supporting production teams to ensure machines are operating efficiently
Ensuring all maintenance work is completed in accordance with safety standards
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate III in Mechanical Fitting (essential)
Current and valid driver’s licence
Australian citizenship or permanent residency
Proven experience in machinery maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving skills
Commitment to safety and preventative maintenance practices
