Our client is a Local Leader in Mining Equipment Overhaul & Manufacturing and is a respected brand in the market. We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to support their Underground Mining overhauls section for ongoing work that is likely to transition into a full time permanent position
What’s Involved?
- Strip, assess and rebuild of Underground Coal Mining equipment to underground mining standard
- Rebuild Diesel Loader / Coal Trams
- Mechanical and hydraulic assembly
- Read drawings and diagrams
What we’re looking for:
- Mechanical Trade Qualification
- Proven Diesel Loader / Coal Tram rebuild experience preferred
- Attention to detail and industry standards
- Excellent work references that can support your application
What we can offer you:
- $59.63 - $60.16 / hour - Casual rate
- Overtime available
- 6 AM - 2 PM - Day shift
- Ongoing work
- Potential for full time permanent
- Maitland region, workshop based
- Ongoing support from your Randstad team
