Mechanical Engineer
Location: Melbourne OR Perth Based
Are you ready to elevate your career? I am looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer for a full service Engineering Firm with a strong client list and project pipeline across Australia. Work on exciting project design and manage projects for tier 1 clients such as Rio, BHP, etc across AUS and overseas.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Engineer you will:
- Execute Mechanical Engineering tasks across a range of projects including: materials handling, covering conveying, material transfer, and advanced DEM modelling
- Mechanical equipment selection
- Pumping and piping, from mining services such as water, slurry, air, hydraulics through to power stations with fuel supply systems and lubrication systems
- Ensure work is reviewed and completed in accordance with company and project requirements, procedures and systems

Work with multidisciplinary teams
Participate in the complete engineering process from concept development through to product manufacturing and commissioning.Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical)
- 2+ years experience in design engineering for mining and resources
- Strong design experience with the ability to produce calculations and design documentation, and practical experience working in construction, commissioning and/or operations in the bulk materials and minerals processing industries.
- Experience across a range of commodities, including gold, copper, lithium and iron ore
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrated understanding of industry safety and environmental standards

- Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
- Skills: Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication abilities.
- Experience: DEM modelling, microstation (rocky)
