About the Role: My client is seeking a Mechanical Design Drafter to join our dynamic engineering team. You’ll play a crucial role in implementing EPC projects, working closely with the Principal Mechanical Engineer to prepare design plans, detailed drawings, and technical support for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design detailed mechanical systems and subsystems.
  
  
• Prepare general arrangement, detailed, isometric, and P&ID drawings, as well as material lists.
  
  
• Develop designs and drawings across mechanical, civil, and structural disciplines.
  
  
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and consulting engineers to execute design works.
  
  
• Provide mechanical design support to the Site Manager for installation.
  
  

About You:

• Proven experience in industrial turnkey projects.
  
  
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or similar high-end database programs.
  
  
• Familiarity with NAVISWORKS Simulate and Manage.
  
  
• Knowledge of piping, structural steel, and P&ID drawings.
  
  
• Open to all experience levels, from junior to senior.
  
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  
  
• Proactive, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  
  
• Attention to detail, document control, and process application.
  
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  
  
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
  
  
• International applicants must have work rights for Australia.
