About the Role
As a Mechanical Lubrication Technician, you'll be a vital part of our maintenance team, responsible for the proactive and reactive lubrication of a wide range of production machinery. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring our equipment operates at peak efficiency, minimising downtime, and extending the life of our assets.
Your duties will include:
- Executing planned and unplanned maintenance activities, including lubrication and visual inspections.
- Conducting vibration and oil analysis and gathering data to assist with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Assisting the maintenance team with overhauls, including precision bearing installations and the alignment of rotating parts.
- Maintaining accurate documentation on preventative maintenance and work orders.
- Developing and implementing lubrication schedules to ensure minimal machine downtime.
- Developing and implementing SOP for tool and die sets.
- Overhauling and repairing tool and Die sets.
- Developing and establishing standard maintenance lubrication operating procedures.
- Monitoring plant performance to identify opportunities for predictive and preventive maintenance.
- Performing regular stocktakes and audits of lubrication and other maintenance chemical storage levels.
What We're Looking For
- Proven, hands-on experience as a Mechanical Lubrication Technician or in a similar industrial role is essential.
- This is an ideal role for a Mechanical Fitter/Turner with experience in the maintenance and lubrication of mechanical parts and machinery.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of machinery and moving parts.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, safety-first mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A commitment to maintaining a high standard of work.
Compensation & Benefits
- A competitive annual salary of $81,710 p.a - $90,689 p.a.
